As a user of the gridX API, you might be familiar with our status page.
Aside from the current status of our API, you can find a list of recent incidents along with post-mortems detailing the events that caused them.
In this guide, you will learn how to subscribe to incidents by email and how to get automatically alerted in Slack.
Option 1: Email Notification
On the status page, click in the top-right corner on Subscribe to Updates and on the email icon.
You should receive a confirmation link at the email address you provided. Click on Confirm subscription and you are good to go!
Option 2: Slack Integration
On the status page, click in the top-right corner on Subscribe to Updates and on the Slack icon.
You will be redirected to an authorization page to grant Status Page access to your Slack workspace.
Pick the Slack channel in which you want to receive updates and click Allow.
Head over to the Slack channel you selected and in the Integrations tab, click on Add an App
Search for “Status Page” and add the following app.
You are done! You should now receive any status updates in the channel you just created.
